Made this candle cake which also included a tea light candle at the top and 250 rose cupcakes and I was so proud of myself! My daughter Kelsey helped put the roses on and helped box them up. I had so much fun making this! I am very proud of all of this. The bottom picture is of the cupcake tower I bought off ebay with the cake on top. It all came together really well!

Christmas Gingerbread House
This is a gingerbread house I made at Christmas and entered into a local competition. I didn't win anything but they haven't seen the last of me! LOL I loved putting everything together and everything is edible. I tried using pink cotton candy as snow but in the morning it had melted so I had to pull it off and I used royal icing instead and I think it looks much better with the royal icing. I'm going bigger next year! Wish me luck!

Baby Tutu
I know this has absolutely nothing to do with cakes but I made this newborn tutu for my cousin's daughter's baby. I had so much fun doing it! I have a grandson so I don't get to buy any pink anymore. I also got her a pair of pink ballerina slippers to go with it!
My first fondant cake
This is the very first fondant cake that I did after a Wilton class. I had so much fun doing it and everyone loved it! As you can see, there is a slice missing out of it. My husband just couldn't wait!
1st Birthday
A giant cupcake was done along with purple and pink butterfly cupcakes for a little girl's first birthday party.
Elephant Cake
This cake was done for my daughter Kelsey's homecoming from the Air Force. She loves elephants and pink and black so I just knew this was going to be the cake for her. She loved it!

Cupcake Bouquets
My sister, Sheryl, and I recently helped our cousin by making cupcake bouquets for her daughter's baby shower. We'd never done anything like this before and it was quite a learning experience. I made all of the fondant/gum paste flowers and the signs and she made the cupcakes. I really think the cupcake wrappers she used helped pull it all together. We used candy sticks to put the cupcakes on the styrofoam and royal icing to stick on the flowers. We also bought some cheap terra cotta pots and painted them white, pink, and a darker pink and used a 1/2 of a round styrofoam ball and then hot glued green taffeta around the ball to look like greenery. I would probably use more taffeta but we were kinda pressed by time. I think they turned out amazing and would definitely do it again.
